Q21 Avalis Glacier Water captures the natural magnificence and beauty of Iceland.The Eyjafjallajokull glacier lies high in the wilderness of southern Iceland where it began to form over 2,500 years ago. It is here that our water begins its journey, having been laid down as snow before turning to ice then water.
Frozen in time, the glacier slowly releases its hidden source of pristine untouched water.Brought down by the force of gravity, the still icy water travels towards the ocean through prehistoric lava rock, filtered to create a water that is naturally alkaline, low in total dissolved solids and arguably the purest in the world.
Low total dissolved solids of ~ 50 ppm means our water is crisp and refreshing.Our team collects just 1% of the water flowing naturally from glacier to ocean at our source at Mið-Mörk. The rest continues its journey to the ocean untouched, as part of the glacier's endless process of accumulation and regeneration.
